Why Guests Love It
Reachable only by a short two-minute boat ride from Isle of Palms Marina, Goat Island gives you a genuine sense of seclusion and calm that's increasingly rare near Charleston.
Sweeping views of the Intracoastal Waterway, ocean, and marshes surround the house. Every bedroom looks out over the water, and the decks invite you to slow down and take it all in.
The home blends rustic warmth with genuine comfort — custom finishes, open gathering spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, and natural light throughout. It feels like a real home, not a rental.
A covered dock with fish cleaning station, power, and running water opens up fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and dolphin watching. The island's wild surroundings are the real amenity.
Inside the Rental
A comfortable, character-filled island home with room for family, friends, and slow coastal mornings.
Enjoy views of the Intracoastal Waterway while cooking, gathering, or relaxing in the kitchen. Custom heart pine countertops, upgraded cabinetry, stainless appliances, and a raised bar create an open and welcoming space for meals, conversation, and slow mornings on the island.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless refrigerator and freezer, Bosch dishwasher, ample counter space, and a layout that makes cooking for a group easy and enjoyable. The raised bar overlooks the water — a great spot for morning coffee or evening wine. Views toward Dewees Inlet round out a cooking experience you won't find anywhere else.
Three comfortable bedrooms each offer water views and access to the outdoors. Whether you're waking up to a quiet sunrise over the marshes or a breeze off the Intracoastal, every room feels connected to the island.
The home comfortably sleeps up to eight guests, making it ideal for families, multi-generational trips, or a group of friends looking to share a unique experience. Large windows and thoughtful layouts give each room a sense of space and calm.
Open, airy, and warm — the living areas of the house invite everyone to settle in together. Comfortable seating, natural wood details, and expansive views create a gathering space that feels as good on a stormy afternoon as it does on a bright summer morning.
The layout connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas so the house flows naturally for groups. Step out onto the deck directly from the main living space and you're immediately surrounded by water, wildlife, and open sky.
Three full bathrooms provide plenty of room for groups to comfortably share the house. Clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully finished, each bathroom matches the warm, natural character of the rest of the home.
Note: The house uses stored rainwater supplemented by well water. Guests are encouraged to conserve water during their stay, and should bring their own drinking water. Only toilet paper should be flushed — please review Airbnb house rules before booking.
The house includes a dedicated workspace with WiFi, making it easy to stay connected when needed. Whether you're stepping away briefly for work or simply need a quiet corner with a view, the space is there when you need it and easy to ignore when you don't.
